The Alpha metal detector features a large LCD display that gives you real time read out of target depth, target ID, battery level and much more. In fact the LCD screen is jam packed with detector data as well as target information.
Its not just the LCD display that give this metal detector such a premium feel either. Its the complete metal detector from it’s coil to its arm cuff the Alpha just feels expensive. For example the Alpha’s coil is the same coil found on a few high end Fisher metal detectors. It’s sturdy metal shaft is rugged, yet light and also borrowed from Fisher.

The Alpha will fit a wide spectrum of hobbyists, as well as professionals looking to get the most bang for their buck.Beginners will especially find the Alpha useful, effective and flexible. All in all the Alpha is the best metal detector we have ever tested in it’s price range. We have yet to see another metal detector built so well, with so many features that can compare to the Alpha and it’s small price tag.
